2019 was one helluva year! I’m beyond grateful for everything that happened, the places we’ve been to, all the amazing adventures we experienced and the people we met. This seriously would’ve have been possible if it wasn’t for all the incredible couples who brought me into their lives, opened their hearts & trusted me to capture their special moments!

This year I achieved my goal to choose experiences over numbers, not just for myself, but mainly for all of my couples. I took on fewer weddings to offer a lot more to each and every couple. I’ve gotten to know so many great people and captured one of the most important days for them. This has been such a rewarding feeling and it couldn’t have been any better! Spending time with family, couples, friends and experiencing different cultures is what really keeps me going!

We traveled to Morocco, Netherlands, Iceland, Jordan, Israel, Greece and numerous states crossing off so much of our bucket list. We tried van life for 10 days and loved it!! I had the honor of speaking at 5 workshops hosted by the kindest people ( Twice at Self Love Series by Kati Hoy // Hey Darling by Henry Tieu // Not Another Workshop by Jarrod J. & Melissa Rey // Funk You Workshop by Chuy Photo ) and through that, I’ve met and become friends with so many incredible photographers who are some of the most genuine people out there!!

I was awarded Junebug Wedding’s 2019 Best of the Best Engagement Photos award and became one of Rangefinder Magazine 30 Rising Stars.

We completed one year of marriage and it was incredible (still is)! I became a Godfather to my beautiful little niece! I spent more time with family, got to see my parents twice and got to be in Jerusalem for Easter (something I haven’t seen in over 12 years).

And finally, for the sake of slowing down, I dove into film photography and it’s been one of the best things that I’ve done to be even more intentional with all that I do!

I can’t wait to see what 2020 has in store, the people that I’ll get to meet and the couples that I get to photograph. I can’t wait to tell so many stories and create work from my heart to yours! Happy new decade everyone!!
