Intentional Storytelling for Memories you Cherish
Hey! I’m Will Khoury
Intimate wedding and elopement photographer based out of Northern California.
It’s no secret that I love the heck out of being an elopement photographer. I’ve been taking photos for as long as I can remember and have found my calling through artistically capturing unique wedding experiences.
Elopements and Intimate Weddings are about your connection, how you and your partner are together, being true to who you are and how you like to do things, the small moments that make the big picture, the experiences you value, and the things that make your story unique. This is what eloping is all about.
Your wedding day is one of the most important days that you’ll celebrate and cherish for many years to come, and I’m excited you’re here and ready to celebrate your way.
WHAT’S AN ELOPEMENT?
An Elopement is the most personalized way to get married.
Eloping is getting married your way.
An intimate & intentional approach focused on your story & the experience.
It’s about choosing what speaks to you, letting go of what you don’t care about, and creating a wedding celebration that's unique to you.
Having an intimate wedding is all about choosing the experience you dream of
Eloping is for those who want to celebrate in a way that feels true to them,
where the focus is on both of you and your priorities.
It’s about chasing the right feelings, not expectations, finding beauty in the unexpected, and creating a day that’s completely your own.
It’s choosing adventure, a beautiful destination, intention over the norm, and a wedding-day celebration that’s an experience of a lifetime.

Frequently Asked Questions
-
An elopement is an intentional wedding experience centered on the two of you, usually with a small guest count (or no guests), and a timeline built around the location and the way you want to celebrate.
Elopements are the most flexible and based on an experience. Intimate weddings include a small group and a bit more hosting. Micro weddings are a smaller version of a traditional wedding, usually with more structure and reception-style elements. -
There is no set universal rule, but commonly, elopements are 0–10 guests. Micro weddings are often up to 50, and intimate weddings usually land in between. Guest count also depends on the location, permits, and the overall vibe you want.
-
Yes. You’ll need a marriage license, and you may need an officiant and witnesses depending on the state or country. For National Parks and some public lands, you’ll also likely need a permit for the ceremony location.
-
Start with your priorities (privacy, views, guest count, adventure level), then choose a season and general region. If you’re unsure where to start, let us help. We can guide you in narrowing down locations, permit options, and timelines that keep everything calm and enjoyable.
Choose a location based on your comfort level, travel plans, accessibility, privacy, permit requirements, and the scenery in that season. -
Elopement timelines are built around the experience you want, the activities involved, lighting, travel time, and breathing room. Think slow morning, intentional moments, ceremony in the best time of day, then portraits that feel natural, not rushed. Coverage can be as simple as 5 hours or expanded into a multi-day experience.
-
Yes. Eloping is cheaper than a traditional wedding, whether you keep it local or plan a destination day. With fewer guest-related costs (and no venue in many cases), your budget can go toward the experience and what matters most.
For popular seasons and destinations, booking 6–12+ months ahead is common. Booking early gives us more time to dial in location, permits, timing, and a relaxed timeline, which usually leads to a smoother day and better photos.
